It will be interesting to hear if anything from the Hawks on this trade moving forward... Hiller (Wins 10 )vs Crawford (Wins 16)Crawford makes what 2M less then Hiller, But is only signed for one more yr. Also the ducks suck this year and Hiller hasnt bounce back from last season, SP% & GAA pretty close together. Hiller is 3yrs older then Corey. Dubs vs Skinner & FleishmanWasnt aware Dubinsky was leading the rangers in pts, yes he;s at a clip of .50 PPG with 64PIMS...But Fleishman got 15 goals (could hit close to 30) and 34pts with PPP. Both players are close to the 4.5m cap hit. Last Season,Rookie of the Year Jeff Skineer still in his entry contract for next season is avg .80 PPG, and his another natural goal scorer which is hard too find, must be scared one he wouldnt come back from his Concussion or wouldnt be the same player when he does return, a bit of a Leap for me since this guy is ligths out. *So Alright not a bad trade, hawks get a younger/cap friendly goalie in Crawford and if he gets the starters job can net you 30+ wins, Dubs is a solid fantasy point getter as he can hit 50pts/100pims...But oh ya wait i forgot theres even more assets the kings got in what is now being called Dannys King Ransom in the ass.... B+ Prospect: Jonthan Blum- Top 4 Fantasy D-Men, great on PPP and will get more time next year as one or both (Suter/Weber) are gone.1st round UFA in the fall draft of this year as always this could be a top pick or still getting a great player for next year the kings will. and yes Entry picks in round 2. So chalk this up as pretty much as first rounder as it will be a top 20 pick. Yes we all know hawks have some good young talent in there system so "they could trade away these assets" and not feel it but ouch on this one |

Definitely a crazy looking, lopsided deal. In Melch's defence, if Skin-flute and Hiller don't ever get their shit together after some very serious injuries, and Crawford starts putting up Hank Lundy numbers, I think he might win this deal. Crawfords in a good spot to win a lot of games going forward. Not saying I'd have the balls to ever make it myself, but hey, you never know. If you're going with your gut with Crawford on this one, kudos... you got some serious balls dude.
