Ufa draft idea...
At the SFHL fall draft, we draft golfers - draft order based on reverse standings from previous year.
The next season's UFA draft order is determined by the order of your golfer's finish at the Masters. (In the following Spring).
This accomplishes many things. 1) Gives lower finishing teams an advantage in the UFA "lottery". 2) Assigns some sort of value to UFA picks throughout the season - the Spieth 1st UFA pick carries a lot of weight - so a guy sitting lower in the standings likely has a higher value pick available to maybe trade, while higher ranked teams lose some value on their pick. Good for parity. 3) Anything can happen in a golf tourney, so it's still pretty random. 4) It's just a lot more fun.
Not to get ahead of myself, but if this does happen, I say draft 2 rounds of golfers with your 2nd rounder only as a replacement if your 1st doesn't play in the Masters for whatever reason.
