hey league officials, i forget this, does a two way player whos on the IR, any IR have to be placed on the active roster or can they be dumped right to the minors?

are you sure? i havent looked at the rule book to know for sure, but i thought all players (both 1way and 2way) had to be placed on the roster from the IR and then a roster move made if you dont want them in your 22 man line up...??
p.s. im too lazy to look at the rule book now, so someone else can... or if they know the rule for sure, end of story!!

I asked the commish last year and he said it was cool. I don't see why we should force a call up in cases like this.

as long as the Commish agrees, then I'm cool with it too...
so, should there be a post by GMs saying that they have activated/moved the IR player to the minors??

I'd say you'd still have to say he's been place in the minors. if you already made the thread for him to be on the IR, might as well just take 10 seconds and say he's off and in the farm.

Guys it is a roster move. so yes a player can come off the IR assign to the farm (just state the facts).
