Hey dudes. I've got everyone's keepers into Yahoo!'s system. Should be in your team now and scouting through the Player's list can begin, minus everyone's prospects of course. If there are any issues, let me know and I'll see what I can do to make adjustments but it should be good to go. Game on.

Thanks Grass.
Question... How does the new goalie system work on yahoo? Noticed there are 2 goalie positions. Do we need to cancel one of them?

Yah man. I suppose we would. Again, I'll try and get that sorted tomorrow. JV being lazy and off the clock. Good lookin' out though!

So here's a fun fact, I can not change the goalie positions to be less than 2. JV can have a look when he gets back/I'll keep searching, but in the roster position, under goalie the drop down tab starts at 2 and goes to 5... that's it.

If we can't get this altered, we'll have to always have one goalie spot open on our roster. Anyone who violates the ruling of only one goalie starting will be immediately penalized either points in the standings or lose their first round entry pick or something. Hopefully a ruling isn't even needed and there's a way to make it just 1, but if not - there has to be a stiff penalty for it.

I've emailed Yahoo! about it so I'll let you know what comes of it when they get back to me.

Hopefully we don't have to create a brand new yahoo league.

Wrong place and time, but in the future we should look at Fantrax. Anyone ever been in a Fantrax league? Apparently you can maintain farm teams, salaries, track draft picks etc. Would be pretty sweet if that was the case. You gotta pay but I think it's like $5 per team or something.

Here's the response I got: Hello Garss, Thank you for being a Yahoo user since 2002. We appreciate you choosing to use Yahoo and truly hope you continue to use Sports, Mail, and Messenger, as you have been. You cannot specifically get a G bench spot on your roster. BN spots can house any type of player. As for removing a G roster spot to get down to 1, you will need to reset your draft. It is not possible to edit or remove a position post-draft. Edit or remove position while keeping draft results Copy the results of your draft to a text file. Reset your league’s draft. Click Edit Roster Positions. After you edit your Roster Position, click Change Draft Type. Change draft type to an Offline Draft. Manually enter the results of your previous draft. Additional information on this, and other Yahoo products, can be found on the Yahoo! help page. If you have any further concerns regarding this issue Garss, please let me know and I will be happy to assist you. Thanks, Scott Yahoo Customer Care www.yahoo.com

Just leave it and you can only start 1 goalie, keep your other goalies on the bench and leave the 2nd spot empty. Set the rule on pro boards. If people cheat kick em out for good, there's no reason anyone can't follow the simple rule of one starting goalie spot. Now that JR's out that should be easy enough for everyone to follow.
