Edmonton Oilers-LA Kings make a deal

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired LW Riley Cote (.549, 2-way) from the Los Angeles Kings. In return the Kings are receiving the Detroit Red Wings 3rd UFA pick in 2009 which was owned by the Oilers, as well as the Oilers 5th UFA pick in 2009.

To make room for Cote, the Edmonton Oilers have sent Rich Peverley (.487, 2-way) to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Edmonton Oilers new cap will be $51.802

The Los Angeles Kings will be posting their roster move to fill his roster spot in this feed asap with their new cap hit

Trades, and more trades just over one month away from the SFHL Trade Deadline. One would assume trade talk will heat up even more leading up to the Madness in March Trade Party Sat 7th. As a armchair gm I really like this trade both teams get what they needed and didn't do some crazy trade or a silly asking price wasn't ask on either side. The Oilers add another tough guy in Riley Cote. The kings as they do in Fantasy or in the real world are rebuilding maybe next season will be there season who knows. But getting two ufa picks is important in getting to the next stage like the avs.
