The Edmonton Oilers have acquired G Scott Clemmensen (2-way, .433) from the Pittsburgh Penguins for LW Nick Foligno (2-way prospect, .676).
To make room for Clemmensen, G Craig Anderson (2-way, .550) has been sent to the Edmonton Oil Kings. Edmonton Oilers' cap hit is now $54.246.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will have to post their moves and cap hit before trade can be put through.

One can tell the Edmonton Oilers are looking forward to the return of Martin Brodeur. Reports indicate late February or start of March he is expected back. The Oilers aquire Scott Clemmenson from the Pens. Clemmenson in the past month as ranked among the top 10 goalies in overall fantasy points. Oiler fans hope him and young Steve Mason whom they acquire in another trade earlier can hold the fort down and get the team a few points in the Win and Games Started Categories.
Pens acquire still prospect Nick Foligno in this one for one trade, which hasn't been that common in the SFHL this year. Foligno was sent down to the farm club to better his dreadful plus minus of -17.
