so late so very late...here we go folks
Wings and Leafs old brothers in the trade of players.
So wings move right winger Pominville and dmen Smith in a trade to get younger acquiring Henrique and Sami Vatenen. This was a good move for the leafs of GTA, in getting Pominville they get a player who was having a career year, that has cooled off a bit but looks to be a good Top 6 fwd. Jason can still add pts to the game sheet in the 50 range and should still grab 20+ goals look for that in the next 1-2 more years. B.Smith at seasons end will no longer be a prospect but that shouldnt stop Kooch and the boys on keeping this dmen...At one time we had him a Top 2 D but more likely a good 4-5 man...I still feel he's some help a dark horse in that he could grab 25-30 pts in the not so decent future. Wings go young in grabbing Henrique who had a monster rookie season 2yrs ago, but some feel wouldn't ever get back there...He's a good C3 that can add some secondary stats/cats in SHP. Rack shall be happy if Adam can get close to that 1/2 ppg range...Sami Vatenen looks to be a good secondary power play guy, in adding some pts on the back-end...Lets call him a good roster player and should and might sneak into Top 4 spot in the next year or two.
WINNER: TOR Kooch gets a player that can notch 50+ pts in a season and should for a least 1-2 more years.
