In a trade which sees a number of players return to a former club, the Edmonton Oilers have acquired LW Milan Lucic (.618, 2-way), Mark Stuart (1.3, 2-way) and C Sam Gagner (.875, 2-way) from the Chicago Blackhawks. In return, Chicago receives RW Teddy Purcell (.800,2-way), D Kyle Quincey (.525, 2-way) and RW Teemu Selanne (2.625, 2-way).
Gagner has been sent to the Edmonton Oil Kings while the Blackhawks have put Maxim Talbot on waivers to clear a roster spot for all three players to fit on the active list.
The Edmonton Oilers cap hit is $55.380.
Chicago's cap hit will be added once GM Mike Melcher posts it.
