THE PWR RANKINGS
as per the standings on this day...reminder plz don't take to heart the comments from the author of this piece he's only voicing his rankings not those of the Commish or SFHL ..thanks
1. AVS
Can anyone stop Swat & the Avs run to victory? Great goaltending from Holtby & Niemi has help stay on top.
2. PENS
Perry & Gez make this penguin train run, with Roberto doing all the work and Schneider with only two wins, can Marko Polo stay in the top 3 ?
3. WPG
Hot Blue Steen keeps lighting the lamp and Kane on a 9 pt streak helps the jets fly high...also helps having tenders Price & Fleury with such good SV% and GAA
4. LAK
Who says the king is dead, long live the King!!! Quick goes down and quickly tuna picks up the first star of the week in Scrivens. Perron has picked it up lately notching 4 goals in the past week...
5. VAN
If Anderson can find his way this will help Vancity...if not best hope for snipers Ryan, Hossa and Joel Wardo to keep the pace going...
6. EDM
The Oil are clocking up the PIMS, but need better goaltending from Howard to stick in the top5...Malkin likes the apples but needs the lamp to go red.
7. STL
Zetts and Haller are making a great line combo in the blues...and who says 92 draft picks are wash up look at Mr.Jagr go go go
8. ANA
Surprise to see a duck this so high up..but latti and co have them flying high with Sid of course. Rask = Hasek and Emery helping in the backup role
9. MTL
Toews is proving pts & leadership, Patty keeps it up on the left side with 5 pts in the past 2 games..Halak No.1? and Pavelec after being called out has played some decent hockey...but fans in the Habs Centre question when the GM will make a move?
10. CHI
DO we have a blackhawk down ? 2nd overall pick C.Smith had himself a good week of play..Hanzel is no gretel and the boys in the net are grabbing the W's
playoffs or burn for gm melcher
11. TOR
never hear enough about Leaf Nation and the cup parade! But with Hiller slumping, Varlamov is winning even with the distraction..Nash is back !!

some feel the Flame is out in Calgary, Little has been getting the pts and deserves first line duty for the time being...when will Brz put on the pads...and old man Tim hang them up?

Harding has been near perfect for mur and the men but you also need scorers to win...oh and you thought swedish twins were hot they are not!

What the whale is going on here? JVR and O'Reilly need help up front and bug buff is the the stuff of legends 7 pts / 5ppp ...old man Marty is playing well and is getting some support from backup Miller ..with Ward back what happens now?

Broken arrow, or broken wing how ever you say it Christan Slater is terrible and so are the wings..Dats, Oshie, and Pominville are putting the pts in but man goaltending is not a strong suit at this moment..even with Cam Talbot posting a shutty this week

46 and counting ...RHN is coming in his own...when does Mr.Little start trading his older talent in the likes of Joey T, Lupul, St.Louis and Chara ..they need Nabaov to get back as Linback and Ellis haven't done anything, but I guess you need to be playing to get pts/cats
