So the Pens and Jets start the off-season with elite centremen changing postal codes. Oh how we miss trades and talking about them!! Man got to figure out how to use the cam on this thing...Vids are much better or ummm podcast??
Pittsburgh gets Ryan Getzlaf whom is starting his new contract at 8.25. Here's a player that can put up ppg type stats and still can add some toughness. Many would say that Getzlaf is a elite/franchise style player and should look good in a Pens Uniform in 2013-14. Pitts also gets throw me pick in the 4th round in 2014 UFA draft.
WInnipeg the team that pegs to the winnings..anyhow moving Getzlaf free's some needed cap space moving forward this season. But they also get 2way player in Kesler, that can still put up secondary scoring in the range of 50pts. But must stay healthy to achieve that unsure if he is a pim style player but should get in range of 50...as well adding prospect Radek Faksa some believe this player is in the mold of a Ryan Kesler (funny how they got both)...Potential Top 6Fwd, and grabbing a great pick in the first round 12th overall in this falls entry should help the jets keep the pipeline going...
Winner: Pitts, only if Gez can get back into the elite/franchise mold, what we are talking about is 80pts, 20+ goals, range of 50PIMs, and 20 PPP...if not thats a huge contract and cap hit going forward.
