Well done boys! Good reading. Look at Caddy in the top 5. Never thought we'd see him there 3 months ago.

In the spirit of transparency, I would like to make public the ranking list that I submitted. I didn't realize Virgo only wanted the top 5... Don't break my balls, I put this together in about an hour, and did no research outside of what I already think I know about the guys. More weight was given to guys already proving they can play in the league. Preference was also given to SFHL Wings players wherever possible. 1 F Jonathan Huberdeau DET 2 F Vladimir Tarasenko DET 3 F Nail Yakupov HFD 4 F Nazem Kadri CHI 5 F Cory Conacher VAN 6 F Alex Galchenyuk ANH 7 F Mikael Granlund PIT 8 F Jaden Schwartz VAN 9 F Mark Scheifele HFD 10 F Mika Zibanejad STL 11 F Cam Atkinson DET 12 F Evgeni Kuznetsov EDM 13 F Filip Forsberg MTL 14 F Brett Connolly STL 15 F Mikhail Grigorenko EDM 16 F Jakub Silfverberg CGY 17 F Drew Shore STL 18 F Tomas Tatar DET 19 F Sven Baertschi PHI 20 F Marcus Kruger COL 21 F Brandon Saad STL 22 F Cody Eakin CHI 23 F Gustav Nyquist STL 24 F Nino Niederreiter STL 25 F Joe Colborne ANH 26 F Teuvo Teravainen VAN 27 F Joel Armia VAN 28 F Ryan Strome ANH 29 F Tyler Toffoli PIT 30 F Chris Kreider CGY 31 F Brendan Gallagher COL 32 F Marcus Foligno LAK 33 F Zac Dalpe MTL 34 F Kyle Palmieri CGY 35 F Andrew Shaw LAK 36 F Nick Bjugstad EDM 37 F JT Miller PHX 38 F Vladislav Namestinkov LAK 39 F Nikita Kucherov DET 40 F Boone Jenner HFD 41 F Mark Stone STL 42 F Jacob Josefsson MTL 43 F Andrei Loktionov PHX 44 F Devante Smith-Pelley VAN 45 F Brendon McMillian WPG 46 F Jordan Caron STL 47 F Luke Adam CGY 48 F Scott Laughton PHI 49 F Ivan Telegin VAN 50 F Mark McNeill EDM 51 F Zemgus Girgensons VAN 52 F Martin Frk COL 53 F Teemu Pulkkinen CHI 54 F Ryan Spooner EDM 55 F Blake Geoffrion COL 56 F Angelo Esposito CHI 57 F Jeremy Morin VAN 58 F Louis LeBlanc MTL 59 F Matt Puempel HFD 60 F Stefan Noesen ANH 61 F Evgeny Grachev STL 62 F Tyler Biggs VAN 63 F Carter Ashton CGY 64 F Tomas Jurco ANH 65 F Thomas Wilson PHX 66 F Charlie Coyle VAN 67 F Emerson Etem EDM 68 F Kyle Beach CHI 69 F Zach Phillips WPG 70 F Tanner Pearson CGY 71 F Stephan Matteau ANH 72 F Mark Jankowski VAN 73 F Brock Nelson HFD 74 F Slater Koekkoek ANH 75 F Boo Neives MTL 76 F Brandon Pirri ANH 77 F Phil di Guiseppe PHI 78 F Rocco Grimaldi PHI 79 F Peter Holland TOR 80 F Riley Sheahan EDM 81 F Scott Glennie ANH 82 F Stanislav Galiev TOR 83 F Beau Bennett EDM 84 F Radek Faska PIT 85 F Brady Skej MTL 86 F Kirll Kabanov MTL 87 F Rickard Rackell CHI 88 F Ty Rattie PHI 89 F Alex Khokhlachev ANH 90 F Calle Jarnkork MTL 91 F Alex Killorn ANH 92 F Dalton Smith PHX 93 F John McFarland HFD 94 F Jordan Schroeder PHI 95 F Andreas Athanasiou CGY 96 F Jared Knight CHI 97 F Joakim Lindstrom EDM 98 F Sebastian Collberg PIT 99 F Pontus Aberg PIT 100 F Freddie Hamilton CHI 101 F Taylor Beck CHI 102 F Joey Hishon ANH 103 F Tim Bozon CGY 104 F Kevin Hayes TOR 105 F Thomas Hertl LAK 106 F Niklas Jensen CGY 107 F Johan Larsson CGY 108 F Christian Thomas PIT 109 F Austin Watson CGY 110 F David Toews EDM 111 F Brad Ross HFD 1 D Dougie Hamilton CHI 2 D Justin Schultz CGY 3 D Jake Gardiner CHI 4 D Morgan Rielly VAN 5 D Brendan Smith WPG 6 D Ryan Murphy DET 7 D Ryan Ellis HFD 8 D Ryan Murray STL 9 D Joe Morrow EDM 10 D Jared Cowen DET 11 D Duncan Siemens EDM 12 D Derrick Pouliot VAN 13 D Matt Dumba PHX 14 D Dylan Olsen HFD 15 D Brandon Gormley CGY 16 D Mark Barberio STL 17 D Oscar Klefbom CHI 18 D Cody Ceci MTL 19 D Stefan Elliott TOR 20 D Jonathan Blum LAK 21 D Dmitri Orlov DET 22 D Jonas Brodin STL 23 D David Rundblad CGY 24 D Nathan Beaulieu ANH 25 D Tyler Cuma CGY 26 D Griffin Reinhart PHX 27 D Derek Smith COL 28 D Thomas Hickey LAK 29 D Alexander Petrovic STL 30 D Calvin de Haan VAN 30 D Dylan McIlrath EDM 31 D Torey Krug DET 32 D Mark Pysyk CHI 1 G Robin Lehner MTL 2 G Braden Holtby COL 3 G Jake Allen WPG 4 G Petr Mrazek CHI 5 G Andrei Vaselievski EDM 6 G Jakub Markstrom VAN 7 G Jack Campbell EDM 8 G John Gibson MTL 9 G Magnus Hellberg VAN 10 G Matt Hackett ANH 11 G Kevin Poulin COL 12 G Leland Irving CHI 13 G Mark Visentin PHI 14 G Malcom Subban CGY 15 G Jeff Frazee CGY 16 G Oscar Dansk CGY 17 G Scott Wedgewood TOR 18 G Calvin Pickard PHI 19 G Anthony Stolarz ANH 20 G Alex Stalock MTL 21 G Christopher Gibson PHI 22 G Chet Pickard CGY 23 G Joacim Eriksson EDM 24 G Olivier Roy CHI 25 G Thomas McCollum MTL Attachments:

Look at Caddy in the top 5. Never thought we'd see him there 3 months ago. That was a quota filler. Had to put a brown guy in there. Same reason Richard Park was a member of the SFHL Wings for many years.

but your're a -11 ... as you have had good positional picks as your first selection..BUT you take NHL Prospects so thats why your ranking sucks ....i guess u got to do better in the later rounds

Virgs can you clarify what the numbers in brackets and the +/- mean?
The Numbers in the brackets are Avg Draft Rank, from what I took from the past 3 entry drafts, when your team made there first selection. example (1) would note that you have had the highest draft rank out of all the teams combine and (16) would mean you avg the lowest first selection from the othe teams (good?) +/- Handding Cap from your avg draft rank to your overall finish

I don't know - Phx picking on avg 6th doesnt make sense... neither does me picking 5th. Though I did have Van's 1st and Phi's 5th the past two... so maybe it does make sense. But then again, Van City selecting 13th on avg? I'd also enjoy a break down

13th makes sense for me. I've only selected once in the 1st round (my expansion year) in my SFHL tenure. Traded my 2011 1st in the Duchene deal, and 2012 1st in the Ryan deal. My first pick last year was Conacher in the 2nd round. Year before that, don't think I picked until the 3rd round - Scheifele.

Might just be me, but ADP doesnt seem to work as lots of picks are traded. And to boot, prospects traded. Personally, a ranking of prospect farms would be easier to understand....and Rack did the work already. Or, if we wanted more depth, ranks of our prospects drafted and whom we traded for. Either way, posts like this are good reads and provide discussion
