lets back track here...i'm not sure goats cap is correct
how do you go from
new cap: 69837 then sign Gionta for 5 mill which is 74.837
drop cogliano for 2.390 so cap now 72.447
sign oreilly off ltl for 5 which is now 77.447
drop glen cross 2.550 so cap now 74.89

Swat is right that his cap should be 74.897. That being said, it's still below 75.2, so still approved once it is corrected.

You final number is correct Swat, (74,89)
Then subtract a $2,000,000 (the difference in Gionta salary(5m) and cap relief(3)) then add Stephen Giontas 562,000. Gives you the number cap number Goat has listed...

the numbers leading up to the trade were not right though...no where did it say goats cap was 74.8 the cap hits listed from goat for oreilly move was 69 and gionta 67

His cap on the Gionta signing should read $72.447 and his cap on the Reilly addition should be $74.897
Those are the mistakes - again, still under $75.2 the whole time, but mistakes that need to be altered once he is on again....
