Leafs GM Jan Kamenski realizes he gave up a ton to make this deal, but feels to make a solid push this season, he needed to add more goal scoring and he feels he got this in adding Nash and Grabo. Kamenski didn't sugar coat things when asked about giving away so much young talent in Hodgson, Johansen, Del Zotto and Armia: "Yeah, I'm pissed, but GM Swat runs a tight ship and you have to pay to get proven goal scoring. I just don't know how I was going to keep everyone after the season and I like shaking things up. This might back-fire, but who cares, I like trading!!" Brunner might be the dark horse in this deal, but only time will tell...
The Avs had no comment about the deal, but rumour has it GM Swat was seen throwing up outside the Pepsi Centre.
SEEKING APPROVAL (once Avs make their roster moves and post cap)
