You know what I would like to see...if they ever get playing agian... (see 2013-14)
We can all say we wouldnt turn away when they come back...BUT it would be a great statement mainly in Canada that the First Game no one goes/watches on T.V ...then the 2nd we all buy are jersey,tickets,etc to the money machine but that 1 day would be talk for years and years ...i dont know fuck the nHLPA and NHL ButtMonkeys

I agree. I definitely wouldn't skip 48 games - if it's on ill be watching for sure, but opening night or whatever - could definitely skip that or even the first week... As I probably wouldn't take my eyes of yahoo and how the Edmonton Oilers of the SFHL were doing anyway.

Agreed... Don't think skipping that many would be an option. I like idea of not buying any merchandise (even for a year) and not buying any tickets for a year either. If every true hockey fan did that, I think it would hurt them.

Never gonna happen. There's all sorts of talk about fan boycotts etc this year and in 05.
The NHL and PA both don't give a shit about the fans anyway, they've made that clear, and they've thrown away 3 months already on their own, so what's another day or 2?
If there are any empty seats/black TVs/decrease in jersey sales it will be by the fans that aren't coming back ever, not by the die hards that are getting fcked in all this. We'll be back.

I'd love to see some empty rinks as a statement for the 1st game. Remember they did that in baseball, i believe philly fans all left the baseball field and the players played infront of no one. I would love to see that happen.

agreed... that would be quite a sight watching approx 20,000 people walk out just as the puck is dropped, hahahaha... even though the league would still be getting the money from the ticket sales (fuckin Owners!!!), the players would sure feel the effects of hatred from the fans!!
