With no Hockey insight we chat about the Jays mega deal yesterday....could this bring a wild-card/playoff appearance next season or beyond?? Also its only fuckin November and I am lookin fwd to watchin the jays in action...the radio is lighting up on this one both sides o the border;

My take, as per usual, Jays go into season with all sorts of hype and optimism. Start well. Never put together any winning streaks of more than 3-4 games, get hit hard with injuries, finish at or just below .500.
Remember Ricky Romero in 2012? Almost won the Cy Young before the season began.

Danno... Wrong as always. Jays win 95 games and make the playoffs. Morrow starts the allstar game. Johnson makes an allstar appearance with or without the jays (if hes not flipped for a DH or more controllable pieces). Romaro bounces back with a 3.75 ERA, Buehrle pitches 200 plus innings. Jays sign Marcum, he wins 13. Jays deal JP. Dirty line up: 1. Reyes 2. Bone face 3. Bautista 4. Eddie 5. Lind or Lind trade/FA replacement 6. Lawrie 7. Colby 8. Buck/D'Arnaud 9. Izturiz / Gose / Davis Go Birds!  |

love everything about this deal... gives the Jays some options to move JP or another young starting pitcher for more proven talent... Coach and I were talking and we agree a free swinging/power LF is needed... it appears the Jays have a good bunch of guys who can start and come off the bench....good blend...

nice mix of lefties and righties...
so many interchangeable pieces now... and tons of speed!!! just need one more stick with some pop, therefore making JP or a pitcher available to deal....

You also need Selig to approve the deal... which is borderline.
Also, it shows how much we need hockey when Kooch's breakdown puts Davis/Gose/Bonifacio playing Left Wing! haha

haha yah agree Bud needs too approve this deal and its dicely as he doesnt want to upset the fans of Marlines and the city....I dont understand how there owner is still in the MLB circles as he fucked the expos hard and got money from mlb and bud in doing so ...we need fuckin hockey this fuckin sucks balls

Yah - be concerned for the Marlins fans and them getting screwed, but no concern for Toronto - a team that is in the hardest division in baseball and hasn't seen playoff action in 20 years. go fuck yourself Selig - fuck you and your tie all-star game

apparently it could be tough for Bud to justify voiding the deal... there were no rules broken... cant help that Loria is a tool and wants to make millions out of it... maybe Loria is going to make it up to the best fans in the world in Montreal and bring back the Expos...?? thats my gut feeling anyways, haha...
