Well, it didn't take long for the whalers to unload one of their 2 first round ufa picks for this years draft.

To the Avs:
1st round 2011 ufa pick (avs) 3rd overall in 2011 draft.

To the Whalers:
Eric Tangradi
Matt Carkner
