The Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs have come together during the holiday season seeing a couple prominent players change teams. The deal plays out like this:
To the Jets:
C/LW- Brad Marchand (2.500--2way--P)
D- Nick Leddy (0.900--2way--P)

LW- Bobby Ryan (5.100--1way)
1st OR 2nd round UFA pick (Jets-2012) (*condition)
* condition:
- Leafs get the Jets 1st round UFA pick (2012) if the Jets finish 1st or 2nd place in the regular season standings
- Leafs get the Jets 2nd round round UFA pick (2012) if the Jets finish 3rd place or worse in the regular season standings
Team Roster Moves:
- Jets insert Marchand and Leddy into the line up
- Jets send Kris Russell (1.300--2way) to the Moose
- Leafs insert Ryan into the line up
- Leafs call up Frazer McLaren (0.575--2way--OP--1st call up) from the Marlies

The Leafs welcome back Bobby after originally being a part of the inaugural team in the SFHL. The Leafs hope the change of scenary will spark a resurgence heading into the second half of the season for Ryan.
