The Edmonton Oilers have acquired LW Sean Bergenheim ($2.75, two-way) from the Chicago Blackhawks for Edmonton's 4th round UFA pick in 2012.
To make room, the Oilers have sent down RW Max Lapierre ($1, two-way) for a conditioning stint with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
