Okay here we go folks...The last place Ducks have made another big deal in there first year in the SFHL. GM of Pens Mark who's team sits close to the 100pt mark but is 58pts back from the top decided to make some big chances......10 players are changing there address + 3 picks goin to the latti and the Ducks...You must think, that the Pens wanted a netminder that was young and should get a chance to be number 1 next year ablit on a new team. There is some gambling on there part to hope that this will happen next season, as Cory Schneider is an RFA.PIT: They get a great young netminder in Cory Schneider, that is playing on a great team, good combo of him and Luo. But Mark must of made this move in hopes of Schneider being traded/offer sheet in the summer. There looks to be a big day day for the RFA, I can see anywhere from 2.750 (Canucks) to 4.5M per year. Visnovsky is avg .50pts per game but with a huge contract, this could just be a salary trade or Pens might see if they can deal him for some assets. Kyle Turris looks to be a good 3rd line centre maybe potential to move top 6fwds. Jakub Voracek on right side has showen some skill and looks to be a good 50pt player but is looking for a new contract say 2.8-3.5M per yr. ANA: Well those ducks keep on flying into more BIG ASS trades....Latti did let go a good netminder here he may miss goalie Schneider but has add some grade A talent in Richards & Krejci. Brad "love affair of Ron Maclean" Richards is not on pace to get career numbers, but should still get you close to the 70pt mark + ppp help. Krejci salary is increasing by 1.500M, hes solid L2+, it looks like he should be able too keep getting close to 60pts with specail team pts there as well...Hedmen is going into his new contract at 4M, good young d-men but not sure hes worth that much in fantasy. If latti and staff can draft good -high ranking prospect with the 2nd and 3rd rounders in this years entry that could really help them win this trade (goalie issue, needs someone to help Rask)could Bobrovsky solve that case ...grabbing a 2nd ufa can go along ways if used on the right player...prospects, Matt Hackett in most books is aleast a top 10 prospect goalie...he should be gettin backup duties next season ..potential A level, Noesen has L2 (top 6) or a good third liner and Hishon is a solid attack player with top 6 fwd potential... At the end of the day as one blogger noted, Pens hope Cory Scheider gets a number 1 job in the NHL next year and becomes a solid - elite goalie. They dealt 3 regulars, 3 prospects and 3 picks (1 being a ufa)to the Ducks. If the Ducks can use those assets wisly (prospects/entry) they could come on top with this deal......the winner in my view will come quick, its not a long term thing we will see come draft day..

I'll pick the Pens as the winner on this one at the moment. High price talent like Richards and Krecji can be found for a decent price throughout the season. Goaltending rules the league, and Schnieder has a great pedigree. Although I will say if Mason lands on his feet (now able to be protected by ANA) and Hackett becomes relevant, Anaheim looks to be in good shape.
Good deal boys!

I think its a pretty good trade. I will dock my boat in Latti harbour...
Apparently the Rangers are front-runners for Nash, if that were to happen, Richards value would sky-rocket. The prospects and picks are the real difference makers.
Schneider is a risk. Looks like a good goalie, but who knows what he will do with a #1's work-load. He is playing on one of the best teamsin the league, but what is his true value on a garbage team like Columbus? Then again he could end up in Tampa. Or re-sign as Lou's back-up.
We won't know the real winner till all this shakes out, and the draft picks are counted, but right now, Latti gets proven talent and a stock-pile of picks.

Want to do that in the Edmonton-Colorado deal too? Swat's at work and isn't sure if he can make the moves before tonight.
