Rackley & scouting staff used the time they had over the summer, to package players for picks to help there prospect development. With a massive collection of entry picks (8) the wings will be pushing for the top of the Future Watch. The big name to watch in the coming years is Jonathan Huberdeau. Addding key puck moving d-men in Ryan Murphy & Dmitri Orlov who will start this season in the AHL. The sleeper could be the fin Teemu Pukkinen whom has execllent skill set, but needs to improve his overall game. I do like the pickup of Jonthas Enroth who will be the backup this year adding some depth in the system. Wings also did there homework in the UFA Draft, grabbing up PP boy in Gragnain if he sticks in the NHL, nice pickup with Matt Read this guy was a point per game player between college and the AHL, and it was the 69th picks (take that njd)...Rack and boys also grab up some more serviceable dmen as they say you can never have too much.

ANA
Entering his first Draft Party, Latti did a great job in getting some grade A talent. Whom ever is his Pro-Scout give yourself a big clap or HJ. The Ducks drafted the most ready prospect in Gabriel Landeskog this guy has top line potential. Ryan Strome is a creative play maker who will be piling up the assist next year. Getting these guys third & fourth overall was a smart move by Justo. Goalie Bobrosky was a nice pickup at 20th overall, this guy still could be a good 1B. Fancy stickhandler Jurco is dandy pickup look for him in 2-3yrs. Ducks werent done there adding Ray Whitney in the 1st round of the UFA, this guy can still play and put up the pts and pp. Bert & Kostitsyn are dark horses who could hit the 50+ mark or do the tuna flop. Alzner is a good key pickup as he has been a good plus player.

Calgary had another good season hitting the 100pt total. Jase & company hope the flame stays lit and they can contuine up the standings. Picking up Jacob Josefson and Travis Hamonic helps the team right now with scoring from Josefson and Hamonic is one that can add pims and pts. Chris Kredier can skate like the wind is projected anywhere from a top-line player or could have troubles sticking in the NHL. 5th rounder N.Jensen has all the skills, just needs to develop toughness. Grabbing Pacioretty in the Dispersal Draft 1st overall looks like a good pick and here's hoping he can get back werre he was before the injury. MY Olli Jokinen can still be a +50 pt guy, and with a 2way contract looks like a good pickup. Hulder & Foligino will get the chance to be top6 fwds agian this season. Grabbing 20 goal scorer M.Ryder 111th overall will help the offensive.

Les Canadiens, Grab the number 4th spot. GM Virgo has big plans this year trying to get into the top three. Habs went into draft day with picks and assets. This was the first year the Habs took players that had nhl game experence. Zac Dalpe looks like a solid blue-chipper, Luke Adam ahl rookie of the year and tought guy Kyle Clifford who wouldnt fight as much this year but will pile some pims up look to make the habs out of training camp. Justin Faulk has nhl caliber shot that can be asset on the pp and Calle Jarnkork highly skilled player but his years away. Virgo didnt stop there picking up Patrick Elias fo the left side. Getting Souray will help the 2nd pp unit and Koivu brings leadership. Look at Josh Harding to have a solid year and could be the next Mike Smith asset.
#5
CHI
Crazy hip hop Melcher made a good splash in the Entry Draft. Picking up blue-chip prospects in Sean Coutouier and Dougie Hamilton. Jake Gardiner has the flash in the pan look and could be a good-great prospect. Rounding out with Beck goal scoer in the OHL and adding Eakin & Rackell just adds more depth as these players look be nhl regulars done the road. Jared Cowan will bring in the pims after being selecte in the Dispersal draft. Hanzal could hit the 50+ pt level and adding O'Reilly for some shorties and M.Staal big price tag but can give you a solid year. Can bergenheim put what the same level he did in the playoffs and Bozak 101st overall has dropped off the fantasy radar for most and has something too prove to his team and league.

EDM
The only general manager that has business with two teams in the league. Picked first overall and took elite prospect Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Not bad for a team that finish 10th overall. Grasser also made nice in Duncan Siemens on the backend who is piling pts/pims in the WHL, this guy like looks to be a top 4 sometime in the next few years. Mark McNeil is a smart player with good hockey sense and looks to be a good B+ level prospect. Adding toughness was a key for grass and Shawn Thoronton fits the bill. Can Brian Boyle get back to 20 goals not likely, and the big question mark is what type of playing time will Nabokov get and were will he be when the season starts.

VAN
Vancity looks to be a good place to play and after finishing 15th in year one of expansion. Cam has his boys ready to make a jump up the standings in year 2. I love this guy in Mark Scheifele this guy could start the season and no one had him pencil in there. Devante Smith-Pelly who? well he is a pwr type fwd and is a B+ level top 6 fwd but look for him in couple years. Picking goalies in the entry is always is a hard-on... Dustin Tokarksi could be backing up next season and rank as a C level prospect in the fantasy league. The monter was the pick in dispersal. The PM Bouchard if he stays healthy can produce 60+ pts, Sobotka will have be sitting in the sinbin and can Karble picked 117th overall get back into the upper tier dmen for pts/pp it doesnt look all that good with a 4.250 price tag could be overpaid. But overall canucks are doing it right!!!

Mr.Swat took third overall, the Avs have enjoy some good years in the SFHL. and looks like it could be another top three finish. When you look at there new gm's house you got too see just how much money goes too being elite in this awesome league. Entry Picks that look like a gems are Brandon Holtby this guy was unreal last year, look for him to start in the AHL but is a A level prospect. M.Kruger & Boom Boom's grandson Blake will fill out the bottom 6 lines. Boone Jenner looks too be more of a checker fitted for 3rd line duty when hes ready. Zach Attack Phillips huge pt producer but to get to the next level needs to work on his skating. By far AVS clean up in the UFA Draft, so you would think they be rated higher but its not fair that he has a three storey house that league offiicals cant wait to party in Garon will be a solid number 3 in the depth chart. Billy Bulter 3rd overall could be top line minutes so the pts/pp hope to come from him. Picking up Teddy Peckham in the first round as well is great pims. A.Martinez and overage pp Jeff Petry add depth but also could produce in some key fantasy pts. M.Sauer & bdelakr (67th) will get the playing time too add close 200 pims together.

Kooch and the Leafs finish with 70 pts and hope a spark will be found at training camp with a turnoverall of the roster. Brad Marchard looks like a keeper with his 5 shorties and with stat line off 41pts, +25, 51pms this is the best player coming out of the entry draft. Nick Leddy looks to improve his pt production with added ice time. Jordan Caron looks to get a full campagin this yr. TJ Brodie is the wild card has showen great mobility and has strong puck-moving potential. As years past kooch & co have always went with prospects with nhl gms. Perron is a high flyin winger but his still injury in the head. Omark looks good on the shootout, oh yah there's no stat for that, but could be a surprise if he can get a few breakways. Booth 4M needs to be a better player when he was 60+ pts before the cheapshot from cooke. Fehr will fill out 3/4line duty.

Hartford still crack the 100pt total the past season, and they look to be contenders this year. Goat or whom ever really runs the Whalers Franchise got a blue-chipper in Adam Larsson who wil follow like Victor Hedman will be playing right out of the draft. Joel Armia a big rw with a lethal shot will be setting up powerplays in the near future. Drafting another dmen in Nathan Bealieu who has the skill set to be a good 2way player when he reachs the show.Rounding in the 5th round is M.Hellberg is a big guy standing 6'5" and who will have lots of time to deveople into a good goalie, & Matt Puempel who can score but needs to stay healthy going into another yr of jr. Hillen who was picked up in the Diserpsal Draft will add depth on the backend. Glencross & Holmsrtom can still reach the 20 goal plateau which is key in the bottom six fwds to add up some stats.

STL
Blues starting off new from the old stars franchise. Bubba looks to get some respect back for these players that havent seen anything but the basement the past few years. Drafting James Reimer means they have a starting goaltender that they can build around.Mika Zibanejad brings in a big body who looks like a first line player. Adding Jonas Brodin who could be a A.Elder in a few years if not maybe #4-5. Bradon Saad can be a 2nd liner if he can reach is potential or be a fringe player but has lots of time before we see him on the big ice. Justin Willams if he stays healthy and doesnt try to crave anyones eyes out could reach 60 pts same goes with E.Cole could be in line for another 50pts/50pim season......stay tune still a few picks need to be selected in the ufa

Duster comes in 12th for te draft rankings. First he went of the board with Andrew Miele, who might be in the opening day roster. This player has put up the pts in college. Andres Lindback looks to be building off a good first year and will add depth at the SFHL Level. Andrei Loktioniov has always heard that he has very high hockey IQ, which yotes hope translate into a full season. JT Miller could be a checker and also get sometime on the pp unit, but he's aleast 2-3yrs before he even gets mention with the big club. Can Boedokar be the real deal and finally light it up my money says yes and execpt 40pts. Can Cam Barker find his way back to being a fair-good fantasy dmen? Danny Boyle 72nd overall even when he makes close too 7Mill will help the roster and just maybe chadder will pull off a trade near the deadline too bring in more assets.

Roach and the hardon he has for his goaltender Price finish the season 2nd overall. The Entry went as plan as he got his man in Stefan Elliott great numbers,31 goals from a dmen in the WHL, but there has been questions about toughness in his game. But I see #2 dmen. Jaker Allen was the one of the top goalies ranked going into the draft and looks like he could be a good 1A goalie down the road, one reason the Jets grabbed him with Price & the king they have the luxary. Filing out is Bradon McMillan could be a good third liner if he gets the ice time. Hedjuk & Knuble where his key pickups in the UFA. Budaj MTL goalie love affair???

PHI
It was another long year for fans in philly and there gm. But its seems like better days are coming, and no more trading #1 entry picks. The Flyers look to build quickly and adding blue-chipper Christopher Gibson from Chicoutimi of the Q is a good start. Sven Bartschi looks to be a good scoring winger that could be fitted on the 1st line. Ty Rattle should translate into off fwd. All these picks wouldnt help this year or next but are good building blocks for the future. Having the First Overall Pick in the UFA again, murman went with baby mario. Either Jagr puts up 60+ pts and is a solid fantasy player or he grows his hair and sings for twisted sister. Theodore will hopefully boost the goalie stats up from last year. Timonen with 33rd overall pick will help the D. In the Dispersal Mur got goaltender C.Pickard who looks to be a solid B prospect.

LAK
King Dan had only one pick and took a russian kid that plays in London.Namestinkov is a pt per game guy with high end skill & creativity. Parros will be a solid addition as he lead the league in majors, S.Kostitysn isnt playing for a contract but should still get avg half a pt per game .Martin eRat is always a lock fr 40-50 and Corvo should help the blueline out.

No shot to the gm who won the league and seems to always be found at the top of the standings. Tyler Toffoli could be the next lucky Luc or his skating will keep him out of the NHL. Matt Hackett had a good year in the AHL and looks to build off it. Stefan Noesen can make plays at full speed, but consistency an issue. Can Frolik get the pts many project baby jagr to get when he was drafted so high. Bergeron should help pp unit if he can crack one of the units.Crombeen can play some mintues and add the pims
Entry, UFA and Dispersal Draft. Team Rankings are based on upcoming needs for the season as well development and potential. Trades werent consider in this years......
