ellis doesnt have to re-enter through waivers does he? beats and i were trying to figure this out earlier....

if he was in the minors when you traded him he does doesn't he???

4) Trading 1 way contract players that cleared waivers (farm team) -player can be traded but must report to the teams acquring active roster. ie Tim Thomas earlier this year.
Tuna like normal, is wrong in this case, but I do agree why doesn't this player have to clear to come back. Something to look into for next year.

We clarified and ruled on this situation last year. By allowing teams to trade a 1 way guy on their farm to another teams roster, it gives GMs a way to use their assets. I waived Glencross earlier in the year, then he went on a huge tear. I couldnt bring him back up since he'd definitely get claimed, so instead of letting him rot in the minors I was able to deal him to the Habs. Come on Coach.
