Northstars/Flyers trade??????????

Boys,

i see on yahoo there was a trade involving cobourn and samuelsson....?? it wasnt posted and therefore should not go through. this seems fairly reasonable to approve, but without information, its hard to know, you know?

you need to post salary and roster changes before accepting the trades. ie. for all the other moves you just did.


i know this seems annoying, but there have been a flurry of trades the past 2 days, and Rack and I are patiently waiting to be approved by someone for ours. the process needs to be followed. it just seems sloppy right now with all of this going on, hahaha...... so please just slow down and hold on. i guess another way would be do it all on yahoo first, but trades need a simple okay first to check salaries, etc. so please, trade away on this message board, but dont send them through yahoo without an approval..... it needs to be a standard for everyone. thanks.

p.s. i guess another thought is these trades were talked about last night while drunk and just not posted yet.....perhaps written down or something. if thats the case, i apologize and renag all above said. except follow all above said anyways, haha.

Trade was announced yesterday afternoon at the meeting with the Commish present. Salaries were worked out then and cap hits were cleared. Grass was also in the room as all this was going down. There was no uproar from the crowd. Numbers were cleared. In my eyes it was good to go.

The reason the trade was accepted on yahoo before it got to the board was simply because I checked my email first and the offer was there to make it "official" in the eyes of yahoo. In the stream of 6 open tabs currently in firefox, the board was fourth in sequence (ahead of TMZ, but behind my Twitter account).

haha.... all is good. im just adding on to the "point making" that has been going on. i figured that was what happened, since it does usually take a day after a party at Virgs to make the board. sorry for assuming the steps weren't taken. good trades, Pat!

I am happy you did add to the "point making" kooch! It needed to be done!
We cant have trades going in differently. As discussed before, the Hawks and Jets I think it was, waited days for an approval from the head office - which was slacking off!
Can't have guys putting things through in an hours span while others have to keep waiting!

totally agree.... i totally forgot i could help approve trades, haha.... wont happen again
