The Leafs and Jets have come to terms on a deal sending the following players to their new homes:
To the Jets:
Niclas Bergfors (0.512--2way prospect)
Cody McLeod (1.033--2way)
FOR
To the Leafs:
Matt Moulson (0.575--2 way)
Zenon Konopka (0.487--2 way)
Roster Moves:
- Bergfors and McLeod report to the Jets
- Konopka and Moulson report to the Leafs
Jets Cap: $53.533
Leafs Cap: $61.098

Although it has not yet been announced, I have officially accepted the position of SFHL VP, Central Registry & SFHLPA General Counsel, as offered to me by the Commish on Dec. 22.
As my first order of business, I will apply my stamp of approval to this deal, although at different points this season both of the above GM's refused to trade me each one of those players.

yeah but you didnt have either of the guys i needed in return for either of those guys..... funny how trades work, hahaha

as commish of this league ..i believe that this trade was appove too quickly ...i dont mind this BUT we have tooo figure out the time space with trades in general ....thiS trade looks good for sfhl since both parties have but what there rsoter moves are but we have too figure out what we are doin with regards of trades and the approval

haha that was virgo.
as VP of Hockey Ops, I also did not know Rack had taken the position and do not believe his first ruling should be to approve a trade while others are waiting approval.
Yes it's one day of delay, but it's one day of points for each player.
I also think this should have been put on delay for a day. Good for those involved for doing it that way, but it was semi sneaky with an approval from someone who left their position with the SFHL head office and apparently took a new spot but it wasn't announced.
If it stays, I'm okay with it. But I do put up my disapproval of this with Rack's involvement - that is all.

sorry dudes...... we were just looking for the approval and got it from someone on the board. maybe Virgs shouldnt throw board titles around and hand out jobs without making an announcement!!! hahaha..... alls good though.....
ill do what i can and approve the Wings/Oilers trade and Oilers/Northstars trade.

I was in the understanding that the Commish had given authority to the board members to approve trades so that they could be done quickly, and avoid any delay.
I was asked by the Jets to approve the deal, and all looked good to me. Everything was submitted properly so I gave it the go ahead.
This kind of stuff is one of the reasons I left the board in the first place.

agreed..... most board members, aka. people that can approve deals are on here frequently enough through out the day. one of us will see a trade has been made and approve accordingly. some, depending on when they are posted, will get approved a bit quicker.... others will have to wait 12-24 hours. in my eyes, no biggy, no poppa!!!
