This is embarrassing for hockey fans. An absolute joke.
I hated the '05 lockout but at least I could understand the reasons. This one is insulting to the people who made the NHL a $4 billion league and the thousands of people who don't make 6 figures and depend on the NHL.
Billionaires fighting millionaires for our money... And it's all a bullshit stand of pride and principle where the people who matter get fucked.
I play beer league hockey at the same time & rink as the Ottawa NHLers are practicing, and watch them a bit after my games... They have #theplayers on thier jerseys. Fuck you. How about #thefans???

haha you know i really miss the 05 season, luckly the RoadRunners AHL Team was in Edmonton for that year, and it was there only one....but man the more you hear, there's talk this could go on longer then 05's lockout what the fuck man, i dont care for the Owners, Bettman, Fehr and the players they can all suck my pelvis...i dont know, i need to find a hobby , and or a hobby farm

It's f**k**g pathetic, and those two morons in charge, all the players and owners are to blame, greedy pieces of shit.
But I wasted my breathe during the 05 lockout, this lockout has defeated me as a fan, and i will fight this one with apathy.
Playing sunday night mens league, and checking out some kitchener rangers games makes it much easier not to care about the nhl right now.

I need hockey... went to the Giants game tonight, lost 6-4. 10 goals and 2 fights put me right in the spirit. NHL needs to be back now.
Speaking of being back, for those in PE... I'll be back basically the first week of Nov. The 3-year trip is coming to a close.
Be looking for work/place to live etc in Guelph it seems, but we'll be back in PE if you want to catch a pint and shit talk each others' non-playing SFHL teams.

Man this is silly... I just came to my senses and realized I've spent the past half hour searching for Marlies lines in tonight's game. Embarrassing!
Cox wrote a good article (a rarity, I know) yesterday about the lockout... Compared this to the previous lockout and talked about how this time around there's nothing in it for the fans... Anyways, good read if you're interested.
I'm interested in seeing how this shit effects the draft... Should it persist. Remember last time they used the 1-3 ball approach and Crosby miraculously landed in Pit (a 6% possibility turned perfect). Now the best prospect since Cros (arguably) in Nate is available. I wonder where Bettman is hoping to place him?

haha dont worry kooch, I'm definitely an attack fan! I usually go when they are in town to play kitchener, had people boo'ing at me last year in the playoffs, what you would think was a sweet little old lady told me to sit down after the attack scored a goal hahaha, i thought her purse was coming next.
