Mike Smith placed on starting squad (one way 2.000)
Bergeron - joins the minors while his upper body injury is further looked into.

As well, Beats needs to activate Eberle from the SFHL IR before the trade can be approved... im sure he has this on his radar.

actually... i dont want to be a party pooper, but this trade cant happen until sunday january 22--- this is when JVR is first eligible to return off the SFHL IR.... the trade can be technically approved prior, but players cannot be moved/added, etc. until sunday unfortunately...

i know its annoying (one of those "rules", haha), but it has been in place for a couple years now... still a good trade, but just needs to be announced a couple days from now....
