Since Giggy isn't up, Rack and I cannot trade. I'll drop Hejduk and pick up Giggy off the free agent list. Rack can then grab Hejduk whenever, or maybe Virgs can put him on Rack's team.

yeah thats fine..... you can drop hejduk, put moss on the IR, and call up giggy and teddy bear all yourself......
rack will be able to grab hejduk once you do that.....

Melcher that rule has been in place since day 1 that teams cannot 3 goalies on there active roster, alos you remember all the discussing we had a month a go regarding the goalies...that idea was brought up...but as stated hasnt been part of THIS league
Rackley is making a pushin up the standings nice too see some teams not throwin in the towel and getting better for today and tomorrow....go wiraton willie/wolves

not too be picky but this is what I see on the website rule book:
{3} ROSTERS - PLAYER STATUS
A. ACTIVE ROSTER (22)
1) Position eligibility will be determined by Yahoo
2) The Active Roster must be filled with 22 players under contract in the NHL; there players must fit under the salary cap rules.
3) Roster must always be filled under these set rules. Having a total of 3 players for each left wing, right wing, center positions, with 1 player in the utility spot, 6 D-Men and 2 Goalies. The bench will have a total of 4 players .
I might be wrong, but nothing specifies that 2 goalies the max. If I wanted to use a bench spot for Hedberg (stupid as it may be), nothing here states I cannot. The goalie rules debated about was started 1 or 2, not whether someone could carry 3.

yeah but thats what is meant b/c we wouldnt be allowed to rotate all 3 in and out of the line up, you know?? its just far simpler to have it 2 goalies ONLY on an active 22 man roster.

well 3 goalies would be like having 7 D-men, one sits. But fair enough, it needs to added to he rule book. Can't be "well you should known".
As for "Melcher that rule has been in place since day 1 ", well 1) I wasn't here day one 2) It wasn't even in the rule book...
If the throwing in the towel comment was aimed towards me...not appreciated Commish.

Melch this was a statement not directed too you since this thread is about wings & hawks trade i just wanted to mention that rack was doing pretty good since he has jump 40pts in the past month which is good too see..since I though Racks moves would help him next season not so much this year.....
And for the Rule Book it has been worded better...thanks
